Bio


Deven Kane has been an attorney and a member of the Illinois Bar since 2000. He previously practiced in the Chicago firm of Altheimer & Gray where his primary areas of practice were mergers & acquisitions, securities law, general corporate law and municipal bonds. He subsequently practiced at the law firm of Clingen Callow & McLean, LLC in Wheaton, Illinois where he concentrated his practice in mergers and acquisitions, corporate law, commercial lending, leasing and other transactional work. Mr. Kane has extensive experience in the representation of corporations, limited liability companies and their owners and in a variety of transactional matters affecting their businesses.
Mr. Kane received his Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Finance and Accounting from Texas A&M University in 1997 where he was a Lechner Fellow. He graduated cum laude from the University of Illinois College of Law in 2000 where he received a Harno Scholarship. Mr. Kane is fluent in Hindi and Marathi. Mr. Kane is a member of the American Bar Association, the DuPage County Bar Association, the Indian American Bar Association of Chicago and the DuPage County Inns of Court.
